Dreams are very important in our lives as human beings because they help us to know what direction or actions to take at certain points in life.

If you understand your dreams, you will not lag behind in the place of ignorance like others that the devil has kept there in order to manipulate the course of their lives. And once you get out of the place of ignorance, you will then head to the place of freedom and deliverance for your life and all generations that will come after you, in your bloodline.

Some people’s problems in life are related to the fact that they do not understand their dreams. The devil always employs this weapon against believers so much, so that they don’t understand their dreams; with the mind that he can keep them in bondage as he desires.

The devil is happy when people are ignorant of spiritual things and revelations. That is why the word of God says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. This doesn’t apply to none believers only even believers; there are some who do not know spiritual revelations. And the devil still afflicts them the same way he does to the none believers.

In an attempt to keep people in bondage the devil always makes people to forget their dreams because he knows how important dreams are.

It’s very dangerous to forget your dreams as a believer because of the following.

1.      You miss the message that God may be speaking to you:

God sometimes speaks to people through dreams that they have in the night, just like He also does through other ways. He reveals His plans to them.

If you forget your dreams then, you will be missing out on God’s plan for your life. And in most cases the devil makes people to forget their dreams so that they don’t claim the good things that God has revealed to them through those dreams. However,not all dreams are from God.

2.      You cannot stop the enemies’ plans.

When people are asleep; the devil who is the enemy of humanity who is roaming around like a roaring lion looking for whom he may devour as 1 Peter 5:8 puts it; comes and sows the wrong seed in peoples’ lives through evil dreams.

The bible states in Mathew 13:25 “… when men slept his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way …”

If you don’t understand your dreams and if you don’t know what it means, then you cannot reverse or destroy any wrong seed that the enemy might have planted in your life through that evil dreams.

That is why it is good for us to understand our dreams, so that if we see any thing wrong, we can reverse and renounce it through prayer.

When we do that, the work of the devil cannot prevail in our lives. We will be able to destroy the plantation of the devil from our lives and he will never destroy us. Like a young boy who dreamt that a six inch nail was hammered into his head, he work up with a terrible headache, He told his mother and sister but they didn’t know what the dream meant. They took the boy to a Doctor who found nothing after tests. They just gave him pain killers. But sadly the boy died after sometime. What manifested in the life of this boy as pain was; what was planted into his life in the dream. If the mother and sister knew spiritual warfare, they would have destroyed that dream and stooped its consequences upon the life of the boy. He would have been saved from the powers of death.

Another person had a dream that she was being forcefully fed in a dream with food. On waking up, she was passing out bloody stool and also vomiting. All these were planted in their lives through those evil dreams.

But if you understand dreams, you can stop the plans of the devil from working in your life.

Through evil dreams, the enemy has confused people into wrong marriages, business, jobs etc. simply because they don’t understand the meaning of such dreams.

But thank God we are here to open the mystery of dreams so that the devil cannot manipulate us.

The evil seed that Satan plants in the lives of people is like a weed meant to chock the good plant God has put in His people. Whatever evil seed the devil planted in your life through a dream be uprooted in Jesus’ name.

-         Every evil power responsible for stealing my dreams, I paralyze you now in the name of Jesus.

-         All evil plantations in my life from evil dreams, receive destruction of fire in Jesus’ name.

-         Whatever was not planted into my life by the Lord, be uprooted in Jesus’ name.

-         Whatever evil is manifesting in my life because of evil dreams, I command you to stop in Jesus’ name.

-         I claim every good dream that I have forgotten in the name of Jesus.

-         I renounce every evil dream in my life in Jesus’ name.
