A steward is a man who manages another's property, especially a large house or estate.

A steward is therefore a servant i.e. one who works for another. Stewardship is the duty of a steward. When looking at stewardship, a number of issues must be examined:

1. Property And Ownership

We begin to look at this by looking at the earth. Who owns the earth? The earth is owned by the one who created it and that is God.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth". (Gen 1:1).

As I was growing up I kept hearing this advice: "ask God to give you what is enough for you to feed on and to put on". And this advice seemed very spiritual then, but when I became born again and began to receive in-depth teachings of the bible and studying it myself, I realized that it was an advice given without consideration of what the entire bible teaches on needs and resources and our responsibility.

Within the time I have spent in the counseling ministry, I have discovered that the issue of resources is one of the major causes of trouble and confusion in the family. This has also made me realize that there are people who are physically, emotionally and bodily married, but they are not materially and   financially married. One may wonder what I am putting forth here! This is what I mean: Such people are physically together, emotionally there for one another and bodily surrendered to one another, but materially and financially they are two different people. Delivered from Financial Limitation

Praise the Lord! In my entire life I have been in a financial bondage to the level that I have never worked in a job that pays more than a hundred thousand shillings. The little I always got was always budgeted to the extreme that I would end up eating up my tithe. But during a one week conference on faulty foundations I began receiving Jobs that earn me more than a hundred thousand shillings. I thank God who has delivered me from faulty foundations that were fighting against my financial life.

Charles Angina to be sworn in as a Members of parliament to serve as an Army MP in the 9th parliament on the 16th.05.2011.  All the Glory goes back to God for giving him this awesome opportunity for service.

Totally Delivered from Satanic bleeding

Praise the Lord! I am so grateful to God for what He has done in my life. When I came to Victory Church I had an umbilical Cord bleeding that I had suffered from right from my Childhood. As a woman I have grown up bleeding to the extent that I would have my menstrual periods through the umbilical Cord but glory to God because now I am healed from the bleeding and also I undergo menstrual periods normally as any normal woman.

1. Like any other ministry in the Church, VCCM Singles' ministry is a vibrant ministry . On the 15th April 2011, the Singles' ministry held its first overnight this year that left singles more equipped and blessed to serve the Lord.

2. On the 23rd .4.2011, Victory Church of Christ Youth Ministry carried out its quarterly Community Outreach cleaning program. This was a big blessing as we witnessed the youths utilize the great potential in them to serve God. The program targeted the Church premises where the youths cleaned the entire church including the tent and the surrounding areas of the Church. Thanks to all who support this program whenever you are called upon and may God greatly bless you.

3. On the 1st .05.2011, pastors George and Rose Oduch together with a team of five  visited Victory Church of Christ Ministries- Kapchorwa Branch where Pastor George Oduch ministered in a Sunday main service. During the service pastor George Oduch delivered a  prophetic and a seasonal message from Genesis 1:22 and spoke the blessing over Kapchorwa town. We thank God for the grace and journey mercies He granted them. This visit is a part of this year's visitation plan that is scheduled to all VCCM branches.

4. On the noon day of the 7th.05.2011,all eyes were eagerly waiting to witness the beautiful wedding ceremony of our dear sister and worship team member Apio Cicily and Mr. Oroyi John Bosco which took place at Truth Fountain Church Kisenyi Luzira and thereafter to a reception where the two served their first meal to the guests. The ceremony was also  blessedthrough a fitting sermon to the newly wed entitled: 'God's Purpose for Marriage' in which the guest preacher and Spiritual father of Cicily Apio Pr. George Oduch put much emphasis on the need for the newly wed to fully understand the  five important points why God initiated marriage. Thanks be to God for moving them a step forward in to a new life.

5. Baptism by immersion took place on the 14th.th.05. 2011 at Miami Sand Beach at Port bell. Congratulations to all the members who were baptized.

6. Congratulations to all the brethren who participated in the recent concluded forty days of prayer and fasting that commenced on the 10th April 2011 till 19th May 2011. The prayer fast was of great importance to the brethren and the Church at large. And also from the 2nd -6th.05. 2011 the prayer fast was concluded with a deliverance conference on Faulty Foundations in which pastor George Oduch explained in depth what  Faulty Foundations are, how they come, operate, affect us up to the 4th generation and the way out .  Finally after dealing with faulty foundations, we also had a very important conference on Stewardship and resources from the 9th- 18th. 05.2011, during which Pastor George Oduch deeply explained the great blessing, wealth and resources that God has given us.

1. Baptism by immersion will take place on the 4th.06.2011 at Miami Sand Beach. You are encouraged to register at the Church office for baptism if you are not yet baptized.

2. Our monthly healing, Miracles and Deliverance overnight will take place on the 27th May 2011 starting from 9:00pm till 5am. Come with the sick oppressed and all those who need God's intervention for God to touch them and your life won't remain the same.

The VCCM Singles ministry has organized its 2nd Annual Singles' Fellowship Dinner at Rest Gardens Bweyogerere. Come let's celebrate' Ebenezer' Thus far the Lord has brought as from the book of 1 Samuel 7:12. All the singles are encouraged to register with a fee of 25,000 shs per head with the Church secretary early for good preparations. This is” I can't miss occasion, why miss!”

3. Our monthly Youth overnight will be held on Friday 10th June 2011, starting at 8:30pm till 5am. All the youths are encouraged to attend this overnight and also invite your fellow youths from other Churches to attend. And the Lord will surely bless you.
