“Give us this day our daily bread” (Matt 6:11)

One of things the Lord Jesus asked His disciples to do was to ask God on a daily basis to provide for their bread.

You have to realize that by saying that, Jesus wants every believer to totally depend on God on a daily basis, not only for bread but for many other things they may need.

Every new day has its own challenge. And every new day requires a new grace. Remember that God even knows what you don’t know, so on a daily basis you need to call on Him.  Even if you have everything you need, still you need God’s protection upon your life. You have decisions to make, so you need wisdom from Him to help you make the right decision.

Daily your life needs to be sustained, so everyday you need to ask God to sustain you. Depend on Him everyday and He will meet your need for the day.
